Fair point, we're unlikely to face a lawsuit but we always prefer to ask people, and to get their memories from the match to add to the books.
Also, if the picture gets used on a 60ft billboard without them knowing a lot of people can be annoyed, which is fair enough!
Chris
That´s correct!
Here´s a nice story: An old Greek man who was on a holiday in Turkey got "snapped" by a photographer, and the picture was used on a Swedish company´s "Turkish Yoghurt" bowl. After a while the man learned about it, and sued the f**k out of the company (£ 4,5 million), since 1) they didn´t have his permission and 2) he wasn´t Turkish but Greek!
Turkish? Youghurt Man I think we have now learned that it´s best to get permissions if anyone want to go public with a picture!
