Crouch was never good enough the first time round much like Staunton and Fowler, why on earth to do keep bringing players back to the club who are clearly not good enough.
Wow, what? Fowler not good enough first time round? huh? I pride myself on being an annoying little [oops] who always has something to say, but you have really blown me away this time. Whilst I wish to put as much distance between myself and your fowler comment as possible, crouch will lead to bad football, and potentially a bad mindset in the dressing room as it will be seen as going backwards in my opinion. We might not be able to afford the big names, but the club has to be looking to keep momentum in moving forward. For the players, as we can see from last season, the mental part of the game has a big affect. Picking up strikers who are nowt but older than they were when we had them doesn't send the right messages to the right people.
