What a hypocrite idiot is this fatman!!! Didn see him criticize ferguson for playing rooney since he was 17 yrs old?!! How about fabrages playing from 16 yrs of age till now?!! What about Messi, Aguero and the list goes on?... Its a shame and totally unwanted stuff from a top flight manager to make such remarks. Really pathetic and idiot comments. He should just mind his own business. An average manager who cant even get the top 4 clubs jobs keep making such noises zzzz.... And whatever happen to owen, what has it to do with him? When owen left liverpool, he was not even injured. Liverpool fans need to let him know at anfield that he is unwelcomed at anytime. PATHETIC FELLOW and a busybody one as well!

Sam Allardyce has blamed Liverpool Football Club for damaging Michael Owen's career.

The Blackburn manager took the swipe when talking about England Under-21 defender Phil Jones.

Allardyce said: "Phil is 18 and you have to take into account the delicate state of his body. He has not matured into an adult yet.

"When you are playing in the top league in the world it can be a huge risk if he is overplayed.

"The perfect example is Michael Owen. Liverpool overplayed him at 18. All of a sudden he is riddled with hamstring injuries and despite only being 30 he is now struggling to recapture the form from when he was 21."
