I don't very much care for bad mouthing players for no better reason than they are not good enough to be playing for Liverpool ; I have absolutely nothing against Phillip and wish him well, but I vividly recall watching his first match against Lucerne in a pre season friendly, and there was a hole on the right hand side the size of a crater, which gave Lucerne their goal. I couldn't help thinking what someone like Ronaldo might have done.
Then Darby came on and the improvement was very obvious. Sadly, it makes sense to get him off the wage bill, and would be, even if the club were not a financial mess.
