20 to 25 million would be nice. He has no love for Liverpool or there fans so goodbye, not going to slag him off because he was a great player for us.

no place for him at anfield. he clearly doesnt want to be here so its just a matter of getting the money we deserve for him. he was in the trashcan at west ham part owned by a company before he signed for us. and we ended up paying 18m for him then. now he's captain of argentina. 25m is the least we should get.

I know everyone wants him to leave (even me at 25m), but i think he is an important player to have if roy can hang on to him, he could be one of the performers of the season and an important one for our title charge. He may want to leave now but if no one is interested then i think he would want to turn on the heat and prove everyone wrong which can only benefit us. Am i going crazy? laugh

After two seasons of wanting to get out of Liverpool colors and you still think he will give his whole heart during the games? I very much doubt so. Liverpool means nothing to him. Let him go if the price is right. Else let him rot at the substitute bench rather and let Stevie play that role. Or worst come to worst we have Lucas. Let him have a go at things if finding a good replacement is difficult. He may be clumsy at times but atleast he loves the club. And to tell you the truth, between he and Kuyt, i personally feels he can hold the ball better. Obviously he scores lesser goals due to the fact the position he plays in. As for Masc, stop whinning and grumbling.

Rafa is having a laugh if he thinks he is paying that little for him. unbelievable.

They are just playing hardball and i think this deal will break down as well. Can't believe Insua's deal broke down as well.

Not good when you have a left back at the club that ain't good enough and a midfielder worth £25million that doesn't want to be here and will probably not put the effort in.

I think Rafa owes Mascherano the move to Inter, he was the one who kept him at our club for another year. Rafa should get his wallet out and fund some of the price himself

I suppose thats true and if he does stay then i hope his level of effort doesn't slip, but he will be starting another season at a club, city, country where he doesn't want to be. Surely he can find comfort from the £????? per week he is getting
