I think Roy has done a fantastic job re-signing Fabio. He is injury prone but lets hope our new medical team can keep all those players fit throughout the season which is a big ask. Someone has mentioned that Insua is in the squad for germany? To me this is also good news because i was always against the sale of him because i think he can become a great LB in the future. Last season for him i think was a bit of a suprise because he played more then he though he would so maybe he wasnt ready who knows but i think he will come good in the future. Play him amongst the youngsters in the Europa/carling games and play Fabio in PL where we need him.

totally agree with you i think he's one of the best full back we've had for years when fit. as for insua, i've got a feeling he might stay now but he may just be travelling with the squad to keep fit due to the lack of movement with wage negotiations. remember those comments from roy in the media about wanting to keep hold of him insua? i suppose if we re-signed aurelio its quite possible he could keep hold of him too. however, if we can get £5m for him and then sign figueroa at around the same price (seems unlikely as wigan are holding out for a good deal) then it would definitely improve the squad

def a gd job in resigning aurelio...
insua in my opinion must go !! he lack of awareness no point getting him running up the field when he can whip in any decent cross

He ranks in the bottom 1 of the all time crappiest players to wear the shirt.
I wouldn't let him make the half time tea and buttered scones let alone go anywhere near a ball.
Utter and total liability.
Couldn't keep the ball even if it was welded to his boot.

what can i say i NEVER seen this coming just comes down to that old saying nothings impossible where footballs concerned also INSUA!!!!! i just jope hes hitching a ride to his new club a lil detour?!?!?!?!
