linked with steven defour in todays news, he and/or banega would be my number one priority after a left back. if a deal for poulsen was relatively cheap theres no reason why we couldnt land both of them because according to these reports they value defour at around £12m and id expect poulsen to be between £4m/£7m.
no doubt about it though this link has come about because martin o'neil confirmed any interest for petrov as false, an article written by the same paper but different journalist.
i think the poulsen link seems to have some truth in it. hes not one of my preffered targets but i wouldnt mind signing him if defour came too, this would give us the perfect balance in the centre of the pitch leaving lucas to cover for the two or possibly keep poulsen out of the side.
by the way the rumour about the letter to defour from alex ferguson is true, he personally told the belgian press manchester united were monitoring him as soon as he made it back from injury and he later in person told the press about it and that he would love a move to the english premiership. can man u fork out anymore cash this season or is fergie playin some more mind games? i hope this doesnt become an all out bidding war if theres any truth in it because i see defour as a long term replacement for steven gerrard.
