Hi Guys,
After yesterday´s victory I think we should make it clear but the future on striker´s area. Doubtless our first option is Fernando Torres, but in case any injury or any problems we should have another options. I think we need one young striker, basically for being ready for the future and potentially being the main striker in the future.
Yesterday David scored 2 goals... yes... but my question is: Do we give him another season credit for it? In my oppinion he had some chances the last season.. and his time in Anfield is over.
On the other hand We are very very luck for having a player like Pacheco. In Spain many teams are behind him. I think he deserve a whole season oportunity, and being the first option for Fernando.
I would like to know the fans oppinion about this point.
Bye.

Hi SimonLFC, Thanks for your support.
By the way, the Spanish media is linking Dani Pacheco with Real Sociedad. This team got the promotion this year, and I am sure they will get the relegation this season. On the other hand, Pacheco himself should think that in Real Sociedad the first option for the manager is Joseba Llorente, that they signed from Villareal. So his options in San Sebastian are really poor.
come on guys support Dani.
Bye.

Obviously everyone in here wants Dani to stay Jesus but the problem is we cant control his fate. Lets just hope Hodgson can hang on to him for atleast one more season and see what the kid can do in cup/europa games instead of playing torres all the time.
Back to Back World Champions baby!

my only fears for daniel pacheco are playing up front on his own. size and strength seem to go a long way in the premiership these days. as a lone striker i think he would really struggle to have any kind of impact.
if he was paired alongside someone that would suit him it might work out well (heskey/owen was both a success for liverpool and england or crouch/defoe at spurs).
the lad obviously has a great deal of both talent and potential but, the hardest part is fitting him into our current set up. if he could learn to play out wide or off the striker he'd have more of a chance of playing although i don't think joe cole would be too happy about it.
if real sociedad can guarantee him 20/30 games in a season, i'd loan him out. he needs to be playing at the top level

He is going to stay, Like "Jesus Red" said Real Sociedad are the club that want him right now and they are one of the relagation battlers in La Liga unless he is greedy and Sociedad is offering a better contract he will join but if he wants to win the League and Fa Cup which we wil do this year he will stay

N'gog would make a nice easy 1-2 million when sold. Pacheco is champing at the bit and more than ready for his big chance. Come on Roy, get him in the first team, now.

Agree with want3d - totally different player to Torres - plays behind a frontman, so if we continue to play 1 upfront alone, he is not a direct replacement for Torres, but would slot into the position we think Cole will be playing.

Dani only the same size as Fowler or Owen, should we have loaned them out for a season or two?
best attacking player from the reserves since Owen. If he goes and plays well he will be snapped up, throw in the lifestyle and he is spanish its easy to see why. If he goes to Spain we will lose him
