Do we need a new striker? Torres, Kuyt, Jovanovic, Babel, Pacheco and Ngog should be enough.

Granted, if Torres goes we need to replace him, but I see the LB and DM positions as more of a concern.

pacheco is more than good enough - he has been outstanding for spain U19s

As much as I like Pacheco and think he is a very good young rising star I think we still need a proven striker. I agree LB and DM positions are weak, and will only get weaker if Masch goes, but I think another goal scorer would go a long way.

pacheco is good and i hope he gets more of a chance this season but if nando does go then i hope we dont have to pin our hopes on the rest of current strikers at the club as they probably not scored as many goals as torres put together ....

kuyt,babel and ngog are not good enough to lead liverpool. we diffidently need a good striker.
kuyt- too slow and bad 1st touch
babel- no aim in his shots
ngog- mayb good enough in the future but at the mo he isnt

we definitely need 1 or 2 left backs obviously thats priority.

but i think we need to strengthen wing, striker and centre mid equally too

if masch goes get banega in, sell babel (£10-£12) and get arda in, it would be almost a straight swap. then hunterlaar loan switch would have suited us down to he ground. i hope pacheco and spearing get hance to travel with the forst team more often this season.

i think its time babel and ngog left the club. ngog apparently asked for £2m a year from newcastle and west brom which works out at 42k a week. thats disgraceful to be quite honest but i think he wants to stay at liverpool that much that he's trying to price himself out of move

we definitely need another striker as cover for Torres. Not having any cover hit us hard last year when Torres was out injured and Pacheco cannot lead the line.

we need a top class striker to take the pressure off Torres!!

We defintly need another striker that we can be heavily relied on and who can take the pressure just like when torres plays. Suarez or Aguero would be great but that doesnt seem likely as we have no cash. If we end up keeping Babel then i hope he plays upfront alongside torres because thats his natural possession but rafa hasnt given him a chance there. Put him up there and see what he can do in a partnership with Torres.

maybe we should raid Man City for one of their strikers ( Santa Cruz)?
