Torres is going to chelsea, gerrard to madrid, agger to juventus, kuyt and mascherano to inter and the clubs going bankrupt.
Theres some seriously lazy journalism going on out there and it seems to be whipping everyone into a frenzy. Calm heads and let Roy get on with it. Some major assurances must have been given to both Gerrard and Joe Cole to get them to stay / sign - this must have been regarding future investment and potential signings and the style of play. Gerrard has been convinced to stay even though maureen would have piggybacked him to Madrid.
Mascherano is just back from holiday today - he may well go, but at least give woy a chance to talk with him.
Torres isn't back from holiday yet, in fairness his "beef" with the club is probably regarding signings, the direction of the club and the investment / ownership issue and i would say he is looking for a strike partner other than ngog! Again lets give woy (and purslow) a chance - just listened to so called lpool fans on talksport saying "well if he wants to go then let him" as they have inside info that the chelsea deal is 100% done and dusted (don't think this will happen as martin broughton will have to flatshare with salman rushdie if it does!!)
I think we should all just calm down, roys making some good solid british based signings with PL experience so lets all get behind him.

Who knows what porkies were told Joe and Roy to get them on board. I don't believe anything any more until it's on the official site and even then I have my doubts.

Yeah this constant will he/wont he (regarding Torres) and being linked with every available left back and striker in Europe is being driven by the media. To highlight how much this is descending into chaos, I looked at Betfair's odds on whether Torres will be a Liverpool player in September - it's 55/100 that he goes and 77/100 that he stays!

It's difficult to explain - in a 2 horse race where one horse is odds on (55/100), the other price should be evens against eg 101/100. The fact that both prices are odds on reflects that nobody knows what Torres is going to do - probably not even the lad himself.
