so you'd rather see us spend more money on a bigger name and then have him sit on the bench? c'mon torres is gonna have to be nursed back to fitness, crouch is a perfect target man replacement for torres coming off the bench imo especially for those times were nando spits his dummy out and gets booked for mouthin off when things arent going his way.
peter crouch has a fantastic international record and will bag you at least 15 goals a season, hes a quality striker imo not the best in the air but he can cause the opposition alot of problems. he scores goals, bring others into play from long and high balls and hes got a tidy pair of quick feet for a lurch.
