The Gazzetta dello Sport is reporting that Liverpool’s Dirk Kuyt is high on Inter Milan’s priority list of transfer targets. The Italian club will be looking for a replacement for Mario Balotelli if the youngster leaves the club, and General Manager Marco Branca is expected to sign a direct replacement for the player. New Inter coach Rafa Benitez is a great admirer of the Dutch forward and Kuyt has admitted that he owes much of his career to the Spanish manager. Balotelli is rumoured to be in a 2 way fight between both Manchester clubs for his signature, and he would cost them both around £25-30m. The money raised from the sale would then be used to purchase a replacement, and Kuyt, according to the paper, is on a shortlist of names.

I have always liked Dirk Kuyt, both as a player and a man. He's no Kenny Dalglish, of course. But he never gives less than 100% and you can't ask for more. On a personal level I'd be sorry to see him go.

Until Nando makes up his mind whether he wants to stay or not, there is always going to be uncertainty as to where the goals are going to come from. I am sad to say I don't rate David Ngog all that much. He has done very well, and will do a job for some club, but I think it is in the mutual interest of both that he moves on. If Dirk goes in addition to Nando and Ngog, we will need some pretty urgent replacements.

Balotelli Moans When he doesn't get the ball and when he does receive the ball he still moans. Let somebody else have this ungrateful git.

Hopefully Dirk will stay - fantastic member of the squad, even if not the most technically gifted player ever.

I deffo don't want Dirk to go, he's the type of player you really miss once he's gone. He's scored vital goals, especially in Europe and is a great guy to have in the squad.
