On the whole, I didn't think it was too bad a performance. It did show a lack of experience going forward but do consider we have Torres, Gerrard, Cole, Maxi & Jovanovich to come in (I refuse to include Kuyt and babel at this point as the above are better, IMHO). Aquilani does look fragile. Galusci looks streets ahead of Cavalieri. Degen we know is pants. Ngog is still pants and I cannot see him getting better - he has to go. Kelly & Ayala in particular already look better than "Soto the Greek" so he should go, possibly Skrtel too, though that may leave us a bit thin. I thought Amoo & Eccleston looked really promising. Spearing was better in the 2nd half without Lucas & Aquilani in the way. And Darby was not the worst left back I've seen playing for us in recent years, even if he's a right back.
