Yes, but the new rules state that a club can only have 25 players over the age of 25 in their squad, 8 of whom have to be 'homegrown.' Therefore we need to start planning for the future because these new rules are going to make a huge difference.
For example, Man City have 35 players over the age of 25 and have until August 31st to offload 10 of them.
It's gone pretty much unnoticed but it will cause some clubs to change their attitude.
Thank God Rafa's gone because he would have continued to fill our squad with rubbish foreigners in spite of these rules.
