there is not a cat in hells chance that we would be shelling out that sort of money for a squad player if something is or has'nt already happened

so the only 2 possible scenarios are:

1. masch or stevie have been tentively sold
2. new owners on the very near horizon

it is only 7m down and the rest in installments , this is the sorts of payments we will get for stevie or masch so it all points to one of them going

or the one thing every single liverpool fan in this world wants and thats new owners have sanctioned this

it simply has to be one of the above scenarios

3rd possible scenario:
3. Roy thinks he may be good enough for the 1st team.

i dont think anybody nos whats happening with the club or how much money we have or havent got, and also the owners nobody nos whats going on there either it would be nice for some good news for a change but until something is made official we just have to keep our fingers crossed.

we were said to have a £15m transfer kitty. just because we'll sign reamy it doesn't mean anything about the futures of stevie, torres and masch...

spending £12.5m of the £15m total kitty would suggest that we are not going to buy anybody else unless we sell though.

Not going to raise much from Insua, so one of those 3 must be going (I suspect Masch) because we need a left back

If our total pot is £15m it does seem strange to spend that much on a young French player who has not really set the French league on fire

i do think masch will leave eventually and i won't be sad if that happens. i'd be glad to take £25-30m, spend £10m on banega or parker and use the rest on strengthening other parts of the squad.

but there's also the option of selling babel or riera...

i think babel deserves another season out of roy if performs to the same standerd then get shut and riera i like he gives us natural width on the left and not many teams have that option of a out an out winger on the left.

Sorry Swede, but what makes you think that Roy will be given the money to spend, don't you think the cowboys will keep the money to pay the debt off or line there pockets.....
