that rumour about being taken over on the 15th July has been flying round for ages.. i guess we just wait and see but to be honest cant see it happening but i hope i'm wrong, the sooner the better!!!

Exactly, Roy may have tried to sign him at Fulham, BUT he aint at Fulham no more, so we will probably be linked to every player he tried to sign for Fulham.

if it happens it will just confirm what we already expect,asset stripping.

This sounds pretty plausable however, I do hear these type of things far to often on the football-rumours website. The 15th of July keeps getting thrown around a lot on the internet. It could have some degree of truth or, it could be a rumour that has just escerlated over a few weeks. I think it is probably the latter of the two. I hope it is true though!

EDIT- I'm talking about Liverpool selling the club, not the thing about Paul Scharner
