with our transfer budget already at around £12m i would look to bring in a couple of squad players CM - G.Silva plus a LB - Bel Hadj? and maybe a RB, or a player similar to Arbeloa who could play accross the back four instead (at least Left and Right Back)

Nice list, I like most those players. I think Schwienstieger and Cambaisso would be more on 20 million especially Schwienstieger after his great world cup. Not to sure about Parker to be honest, never really been a fan of him. I would also add Ngog and El Zahr to list of players we should sell.

and possibly degen? that would amount to around at least £8million maybe free up some funds for CM

I'd keep hold of Insua. We do need a good left back but the youngster will make a good back up and squad player.

Yer forgot about Degan, we should defo sell him. Looks like Insua is going to Fiorentina, probably in the next day or so, they want him it's just weather Hodgeson wants to sell him.

Certainly looks like Insua could be going - We'll probably go for this lad from Wigan then but we'd still only have 1 LB so maybe Sammy has told Roy there are kids ready from the reserves. Can Kelly play left back??? Maybe Agger will be the back up for LB? Certainly our players are fairly inter-changeable at the back with Carra and Johnson both able to play both full back positions.

Left back seems to be a priority. Figuero is OK but would he even been on anybody's radar if he had not scored that wonder goal from inside his own half? And left backs in the Ressies amount to Jack Robinson (who hasn't played for the Ressies but made the first team) and Mendy.
