http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ehfUBqwwi94&feature=relatedFrom watching these clips, and i know it only shows the best of him, but isnt that what we want to see? anyway, from what ive seen to put it politely, His acceleration, pace and fancy footwork just takes the [oops] out of defenders, He can take men on, simply because of his pace, he can take penalties and free kicks, so if ever Gerrard is injured or if he moves we will have somebody who can take set pieces, Maybe not as good but not far off.
Not just that, but if you watch "The Serbian" at around 2mins 30, you can see Jovanovic and his team mate destroy Everton in about 2-3 passes, he doesnt score but gets a penalty (dont know if they scored the pen)
Jovanovic, is a Striker and a Left midfielder, he was Standard Liege Top Goalscorer last season, and also got Belgium player of the season.
I think liverpool may play a 4-2-3-1 my starting line up being

This is just a suggestion, but i think we have a strong side... obviously if the the trio decide to leave then we wont be winning the premiership any time soon, but we have players to cover in the positions
Torres Goes play Kuyt, then Babel will take the wing position
Gerrard Goes play Jovanovic behind the striker.
Macherano goes play Aquaman
Yes i know that its looking Grim, but you have to look at the positives..
I think that a 4-2-3-1 Will also fit gerrards position. and also gives us the option of the wing.
With 4 at the back and 2 CDM's its should be quite solid at the back, and with 4 attacking players i cant see it being that hard to score, especially with the quality of players we have.
