If we can’t get rid of FSG so what ? We can still debate it and nail it like United fans do. And when the glaziers borrow it IS their money the debt is on the assets of the club and they own the club. FSG could take on a little more debt but won’t maybe they should ?

There's a lot of things FSG can do to raise capital and they know it, however they don't want to give up any % of the club. Whilst they are making bank going from 300m to 4.3BILLION they will continue with the frugality because it's got them this far.

It's high time Fans called them out on their BS, we've been far too patient and compliant because they've had the perfect excuse for the past 2+ years with COVID.

I'm afraid it's going to take us losing the best thing we've had in a long time before fans wake up - KLOPP.

Looks to me they want to use all available cash of the club for infrastructure, stand, training ground etc...

And that is a tall order. Getting the ground from 44k to 61k will be massive in terms of the future. Getting that done whilst achieving success is unheard of and for that we should be thankful.

The next week is a really big one. We have the opportunity to go to Spurs knowing that a win there is a major step to going for the top 4. To do this we may need to dog the Napoli game. We have already qualified and I say let's take our chances in the CL draw because we are still feared there.

We are on the edge of losing out on top 4. Spurs are quite capable of chucking in a bad performance and my goodness they are under pressure to get a result in Marseille or they could end up in the Thursday night league.

The team looks knackered and are being asked to come back quickly from injuries and play full games. Leeds were just lying in wait for us really after we played midweek. We cannot expect these players to go toe to toe week after week against fresher players. CL is different. We are playing teams playing as many games as we are. So this explains why we can beat City and beat West Ham as they are both in Europe but then lose to Forest. I

We now have a front 3 and Klopp is balancing their time with using Elliott and Carvalho. We must not burn these youngsters out.

This thing about FSG has not sprung up in the last months because of our form we have been discussing the same things for years. The arrival and brilliance of klopp has masked the failings of FSG but the success in recent years and now the fall from grace has set higher expectations and I don’t think the fans will put up with the 6th and 7th place normality anymore. I bet FSG are worried in their Boston silo

What would they be worried about? Fans not going to the stadium, won't happen any time soon. Not qualifying for CL will however make them very unhappy, and maybe if we don't for a few seasons, they might consider selling at a reasonable price, but by then the club would have fallen apart

If we cannot get players better that our current midfielders after also taking into account how injured they get over the course of a season, then we must be having a very lousy recruitment team. Yes there are no guarantees, but there never is and don't think never buying any proven player because there are no guarantees would make any sense

There are no guarantees and they may be worse. My criticism of FSG was lack of investment but in the pro side they were stable and professional. We could get a rouge state like city or Newcastle or a big personality who treats the club as a toy.

However anyone coming in will be aware of city’s spending and oil state sponsorship and the criticism by fans of the low spend. They will also have to be serious investors to buy the club in the first place. Much of the ground investment medium term has been done.

So it’s fairly self evident whoever comes in moving closer to city’s net spend is the aim
