I am firmly of the belief that if we had a natural finisher in our team we would have won that Spurs game and thus won the league and our 24 attempts against Madrid in the CL final would have produced at least one goal.

Darwin Nunez does seem to fit the bill. He is a real no 9 having scored 26 goals in the Portuguese League last season and 6 goals in the CL.

Also, Mane has been a great servant for us and who would begrudge him a move away? For me, I could never really understand why he always played second fiddle to Salah. Klopp always took him off ahead of Mo and when they were proposing to pay him £400k a week Mane was only on £100k. Mane has arguably made a greater contribution to our success since he signed in 2016.

Very excited about the potential arrival of Nunez. Let’s hope it happens now.

We won't sign Nunez until the Mane transfer to Bayern is sorted. It could even be having to wait for other players to be sold...Minamino, Ox, Nat Phillips, Neco Williams etc...

I believe we have put the feelers out there ultimately letting Nunez know we don't want to be involved in an auction with the likes of Man Utd - our leverage is CL football for him and playing for Klopp. We are hoping Nunez let's Benfica know he "only" wants to sign for us.

I would like further clarity on Salah though, we do need to know if he is staying and signing a contract or if he doesn't want to sign we need to sell him now and not allow him to leave on a Free next season.

Salah & Mane should bring us close to £100m for reinforcements, topped off with sales of other players mentioned bringing in approx' £160m.

I'd like to see us bring in Nunez, Bellingham, Tielemans and Cornet for a combined total close to £200m.

I think it would give us the ammo to going one better next season in CL & PL, which is our bread and butter. It was nice winning the League & FA Cup but it cost us in the most relevant comps in the end.

We score a lot of goals, second to City only if I am not mistaken, I would even add that I feel that our goals scored to chances created ratio relatively low. So I also think that a better finisher will help us win more games, but he should also defend and track back, and create chances our current forwards do
