Mo Salah was superb in the first half of this season but not been the same player since he returned from the AFCON.

I think any club including Liverpool would be nuts to committing to a £400k plus contract with him.

I reckon he will be allowed run down his contract next season and hopefully we will get the best out of him as he will be in the shop window.

I feel like Mo has lost some of his lightning speed hence he can´t take players on like he did. Maybe it´s just down to tiredness not sure.

For me, Salah will score spectacular goals when he does not have time to think. Put him one on one with the goalkeeper and he will very often make the wrong decision. Robbie Fowler would have scored that one on one against Courtois on Saturday by giving the GK no chance. Salah just not a natural finisher.

Also, Salah gives the ball away an awful lot and maybe that’s why things did not work out with Mourhino at Chelsea. Very costly player to have in the team when he not scoring goals.

He's had 2 huge letdowns with his home nation - Egypt. Getting beat in AFCON Final and missing out on the World Cup with defeat in the play off. He has not had any rest playing the lions share of games through this season. He is mentally and physically knackered, Klopp should have given him more time off when he came back from AFCON and the World Cup Play Off. We were managing fine without him, Mane and Keita when they were away.

Salah has never been the same since he was away and came back. Give him time to rest properly and sort his head out and he will get back to his best.
