Reading this morning that Mane on his way to Bayern for a Paltry £25m. Seems like a steal for one of our best players.

I guess the lesson to be learned is not to let such a valuable player run his contract down to the last year.

His presence will be badly missed next season. Big loss for us.

I highly doubt Mane is on his way out of the club after him saying to Sky Sports:

"Honestly I think the answer I can give you now is I feel very good, and I am fully focused on Saturday's game, that is the answer I must give before the final," he said on Thursday.

"But come back to me on Saturday and I will give you the best answer you want to hear, for sure. It's special. I will give you all you want to hear then.

"I love what I am doing and I sacrifice myself all the time; I am working hard every single day on the pitch and in the gym and I get better and better, that's the most important. I am trying my best to help the team."

Unless Mane hates us and wants to give us a real kick in the teeth his choice of words, say it all.

I'm guessing Klopp has convinced both Salah and Mane to stay on for another year until 2024.

Pickles, I have taken the opposite interpretation of his comments yesterday. I think he on his way out sadly.

If so, an extremely poor choice of words to English media and can only rub LFC fans up the wrong way!

The only way I can see this transfer would be entertained by Klopp if Lewandowski was part of the deal.

If he wants to go what choice do they have? He's free next summer - 25mil is the best they'll get. That's what happens when players run down their contracts. Salah will stay a year and leave for free.

KP, FSG won’t allow him to leave for a derisory £25m. They may as well let his contract down and have a player playing out of his skin next season as he will be in the shop window.

A swap deal for Ledwandowski with Bayern could be an interesting twist and could work for all parties.

If Bayern want him, they will have to pay, we do not have to sell, I would prefer we keep him, even if he does run down his contract, he is so versatile and has played really well the second half of this season.
