For me our worst result this PL season:
30/10/21 - Liverpool 2 v 2 Brighton
Losing a 2 goal lead at home was a hard pill to swallow. We were without the injured Fabinho & Thiago for that game but we should never, ever have let a 2 goal lead slip.

Yep, that one too Vish I have already given it a mention. Dont try and counting it twice. As was mentioned Fab and Thiago were missing. Think about the turn of the year when we had about 6 midfielders out of 10 out and the likes of Tyler Morton were playing.

At 2 v 0 for Villa, if we could have made it 2 v 1 in our game, City's heads would have dropped further to probably not getting back into that game. We were so leggy and tired today and the injury to Thiago may come back and bite us v Real Madrid.
Great PL season for the neutral, City and Liverpool slugged it out right to the bitter end.
We do need to address the lack of reinforcements in the middle in the off season, it's probably the one area where we've lost the PL Title for not having anything better on the bench to make changes when needed and to rely on.

Yes I think it that had gone 2-1 when City were 2 down that would have been the clincher. I saw City fans close to tears at 0-1 so I am sure that would have filtered to the pitch. But fair play 2 weeks running they have fought back. As far as needing players is concerned it may not need much more. Maybe just one. In Dec/Jan we were desperate for midfielders when we had injuries. But finishing the season with pretty much a full squad for 2 months and winning 16/18 dropping 4 points in the PL and smashing it in the cups means there is not really much wrong.

Great teams never give up and this City team is a great team, they did it last week against West Ham coming back, Utd did it for years, neither team lost the PL, City won it.
