Great effort by the boys but our inability to beat the other top teams has proved costly.

In the league we failed to beat City, Chelsea and Spurs and even in the cup finals we needed penalties to beat Chelsea.

I think this is down to a lack of clinical finishing in front of goal and that needs to be addressed for next season.

Thoughts?

We may well see 2 of Firmino, Salah or Mane leave this summer. If so, a number 9 might improve the team, though Mane's done really well there and I'd prefer to keep Mane and Salah.

The difference between us and City is midfield. If we had KDB, we'd have blitzed the league.
Milner's too old, Henderson's legs have gone, Ox hasn't worked out and Keita's... rubbish.

I'd go all out for a class CM.

I'm worried for Saturday if Thiago's out.

Yes great effort but in the end, the best team won the league. Instead of finishing I would say we conceded too many. We were leading 2-0 against Chelsea, 2-1 against City, we conceded despite dominating the game against Spurs and they could have scored a lot in that first game.

yeah sloppy at the back this year, we need to sort out that whole high line thing
