I have been saying this all season and the Spurs game once again demonstrated our need for a natural finisher. We dominated the game and had many chances but little to show for it. Makes me wonder how good we would be if we had a modern day Ian Rush or Robbie Fowler in our team. Natural finishers that know how to put the ball in the back of the net.

For all their creative talent Salah, Mane, Firminio and even Jota waste a lot of clear cut chances.

I know we score many goals but not as many as City and they look like they going to move a further step ahead by signing Halland this summer. We need to buy an established goal scorer to counter this.

I love Salah but if I was to point a couple of fingers at where we fall short as a team it's because (Salah mainly) but all of our strikers shoot at every opportunity and never look for the sqaure ball set up.

2 occasions against Spurs Salah has a square to diaz for the finish... both times he decides to try and magically teleport the ball through 3 Spurs defenders.

gets a lot of goals and I'll give him massive credit but boy does he just occasionally need to pass the bloody thing for the sake of the team.

It’s official: City sign Haaland.

This is going to make a big difference next season.

Interesting to see how LFC react.

Nunez anyone?

I saw a report on SKY Sports earlier where they quote he will be on a £350K a week deal, huge money, but allot less that was being reported his demands a few months ago, would be interesting to know how much some of City's sponsors are paying him for 'consultancy' fee's, like they were with Mancini.

Haaland is a good player, but people keep saying City need a striker, they may do, but it means Pep will have to drop one of their 10 Midfielders! so they will not be playing the same as now, I am not sure Haaland will fit in as he is more a target man/finisher, Kane probably suits City's style more as he can drop off and be creative.

Could Jota be moulded into a finisher under Klopp's coaching ? Failing that, I like Origi and Klopp says he's the best finisher in the squad. Could we keep him ?

Origi is definitely leaving, AC Milan I heard, he is useful option to change a game, Klopp must not think he suits our play or he would have played allot more, he rarely plays a full game for us, so needs to move on to play.
