The results away from us seem to have gone our way this week:

City crash out with a devastating defeat after a gruelling 120 mins of football. They going to be exhausted for Newcastle and Its going to be hard for Pep to pick them up after such a loss.

West Ham also out and now have to focus on League if they are going to have any chance of European football next season. Should be massively up for their match against City next week.

City are going to have to dig deep for them not to drop points in the league.

Also, much prefer Madrid in CL final than City. They have rode their lunch against PSG, Chelsea and City. Can’t last forever.

And we still have to win all our games, to win any other trophy, especially the finals. Spurs on Saturday won't is much more difficult than both Newcastle and West Ham. But we should keep on believing

We are basically going to see over the next few weeks if this team is a very good team or a great team. Fine lines. League is not in our hands. The 2 cups are

There's a lot of if's, but's and maybe's the way league positions are currently shaped.

West Ham are not in good shape and have played horrible after Europa games. They can in effect end Brighton's Europe aspirations with a win @Norwich this weekend.

Wolves look like they have been waiting for the beach for sometime now.

Chelsea have also dropped right off and are in trouble for being dragged into the mix with Spurs and Arsenal for 3rd and 4th positions. Chelsea play Wolves at the weekend.

Man Utd get one decent result in what seems every 3 games and have only 2 games left to play away @Brighton this weekend & @Crystal Palace.

Brighton have started to get points after a horrible run of form.

So many scenario's needed to happen to motivate teams to try and get that last Europa Conference League spot and the place for the 2nd Europa League spot. You'd have to say anybody below Brighton in 9th place it is mathematically impossible, but for Brighton, Wolves, West Ham and Man Utd those spots are still up for grabs.

My belief was that last weekend's games was our best shot at Man City dropping points @Leeds but then came that demoralizing Champions League exit at the hands of Real Madrid. If Newcastle are up for it they can pour misery onto City but that's a big "if". If City are still top come late Sunday evening then I don't see them dropping any points in the games remaining.

Man City going out of the CL was the worst thing that could have happened. Now they are angry, fired up, with nothing but the league to play for. They thrashed Newcastle and will probably do the same to Wolves and Villa.

You preferred to face City in the final. I didn't want us to face City anymore this season

I think we could beat City in Europe, I think we have a better chance of beating Madrid.

Another Champions League this season and it's another good year in my book.

Beating city in the League if like trying to play a team with all the cheat codes, v difficult to do.

I just mean that they have every single advantage going in terms of squad selection. I've never seen a squad who could put out an 11 any day of the week and walk the league every years like they do. Not normal in my book.

Ethically, Man City are rotten to the core, the fact the authorities don't want to act on the insidious nature of how they continually flout FFP makes me wonder if the whole system is rotten?

We found out how corrupt FIFA is/was and I'm in no doubt that FIFA aren't the only ones who've taken/taking backhanders. There is a whole world of ways to hide dodgy payments. Man City are still under investigation for the Der Spiegel articles / Football leaks to which a whole lot of can kicking continues to happen.

Enter Newcastle United who says "Hold My Beer"!
