Apologies about the title, however it needs to be said!

Liverpool schedule:

Sat 30/04 - Newcastle v Liverpool - 7:30am KO

Tues 03/05 - Villareal v Liverpool - 8:00pm KO Champions League

Sat 07/05 - Liverpool v Spurs - 7:45pm KO

Tues 10/05 - Aston V v Liverpool - 8:00pm KO

Sat 14/05 - Chelsea v Liverpool - 4:45pm KO FA Cup Final

Tues 17/05 - Soton v Liverpool - 7:45pm KO (REARRANGED)

Sun 22/05 - Liverpool v Wolves - 4:00pm KO

Sat 28/05 - Champions League Final

Why, oh why did The Premier League rearrange the Southampton away game on the Tuesday after THE FA Cup Final???

They've already f#cked us over not pushing our kick off time to the evening kick off for this Saturday's game @Newcastle less than 2 1/2 days after we played our Villareal CL 1st leg game.

Putting the rearranged Southampton game on the Wednesday would not have inconvenienced anybody. The ONLY game that evening would be The Europa League Final and neither Southampton or Liverpool are apart of it.

If The FA Cup Final goes all the way to extra time and penalties it could be 8pm before we know the result and Liverpool then have to travel either that night or on the Sunday back to Liverpool to then travel back down to the south coast for the Southampton game on the Tuesday! RIDICULOUS!!!

Thoughts?

I would imagine they won't travel back to Liverpool at all after the FA Cup. It might be a little stay in and around the south of England using the facilities of another club

Maybe so Acca however you can see the point. Tuesday to play a PL game is unusual in itself, if you look back when there's been PL games midweek they are usually on a Wednesday. There is been no reasonable reason for it to be played on the Tuesday.

I hope we do go on and win it all now and stick the middle finger up to The Premier League, despite what looks like their best efforts to scupper us.

Ate they allowed to put a game on the same day as the Europa league final, I'm not too sure? I don't remember games being played on CL days neither, I might be wrong

CL Final, the Premier League is normally finished.
However recent PL games have been played same evening as CL Quarter Finals.

06/04/22 Burnley 3 v 2 Everton
Chelsea 1 v 3 Real Madrid
Villareal 1 v 0 Bayern Munich

Most Europa League Finals I can find have been after PL season is finished so there is no precedent I can see where it is an evening where no PL games can be played. So The Premier League definitely fc#ked us over.

West Ham v Man City time moved over "POSSIBLE"!!! Europa League final mad

Simon Stone, BBC Sport

West Ham’s final home game of the season against Manchester City on 15 May has been brought forward by two and a half hours to give the club extra preparation time in case they reach the Europa League final.

If the Hammers get through their semi-final against Eintracht Frankfurt on Thursday, the final in Seville is on Wednesday, 18 May.

The league match against City was scheduled for the previous Sunday, with a 16:30 BST kick-off for live TV coverage.

West Ham thought this was not ideal and had hoped to move the match to either the Friday or Saturday.

However, City already have a game next Wednesday against Wolves, which ruled out the Friday option, while the Saturday is being kept free for the FA Cup final.

It means the West Ham game will be played on 15 May, with a 14:00 kick-off.

If West Ham get to the Europa final, they will have the reserves playing against City, as it is a meaningless game to them, so I do not think that start time will make a difference.

We are in a bit of a no win situation with all of this, but fingers crossed City just falter - a draw in one of their remaining games would do

It's the principal of the matter the fact they are willing to help out West Ham and yet a club still going for everything they'd rather not because they would rather we did not create history. I guess their thinking is that we would be making a mockery of their competition, potentially winning it along with everything else.

F..cuk 'em if we do win everything it makes it all the more special. We can point fingers afterwards and tell them to go f...cuk themselves if they need us to do any special promo's/advertising their product for the tv revenues etc $$$... just do the bare minimum of what we are contracted to do.
