Should not be fatigue with a full squad to call on. It's this time of the season that it's about game management, squad rotation and players being focused.

The biggest problem is playing midweek every week whilst coming up against sides who are only playing once every 7 days. Players are athletes but not machines. Every weekend we will be playing athletes and Klopp has to look at which players are dropping off on fitness levels and which can play 90 mins game after game.

We have to make the most of this next 9 days with 3 home games. At the moment there are a possible 11 games in 39 days. That drops to 8 games in 30 days afterwards. This promises to be an incredible journey to be on.

Just because the players aren't playing every game doesn't mean they aren't suffering from fatigue. Fatigue doesn't just mean physical, it can also mean mental fatigue.

They are all training and travelling together to each game with the mindset they are potentially playing. Doing this every 3 days or so has to have a certain level of stress. We are in unchartered territory here, still involved in every competition we first set out in. The fact of the matter is we are going to have dips in performance even with a full squad available.

Results are all that matter from here on in.

Very true which may be the reason we are not seeing so much of Curtis Jones and Harvey Elliott who were keeping other players out of the team earlier in the season even when they were fit.I

I think the dips have already occurred like when City second goal in semi final goes under Alisson and Konate fluffing his lines v Benfica first leg. There may be more to come when we try to play within ourselves. It's a risky business and we still have to get our Muslim players through Ramadan with lots of games to play.
But on the other hand Konate scored in his last 3, Bobby and Mane both back on form last 2 games.

It's a dangerous game to play and as you say results are all that matter now. There is going to be real drama ahead.
