Klopp has always played a high line since VAR was introduced in the Premier League in 2019. It has got even higher since because of minor tweaks in how they use VAR, especially since they brought the lines in, when viewing on screen for offsides.

I seriously do not get how people are whingeing over something that is benefitting us so much so that our results and our stats from using this high line defence is plain to see.

The Refs and their Assistants are having to allow full passages of play to completion even when their is a blatant offside.

Again your argument is feelings over facts. Show me something stat based and factual and not what you think or feel.

you are wrong...yes the refs are playing on with some but also we are getting cut open with one simple ball loads of times. every match actually. city scored one lazy defending goal but they coulda scored 3, chelsea in the final had 2 how the hell u miss that chances. forrest shoulda scored a siitter before jota scored, norwich opened us up , brentford too, actually every team apart from utd can't remember them getting a one on one but i could be wrong.

And we've not been beaten by them either...and your point is?

We have 2 defeats ALL season in PL, both AWAY:

28 Dec - Leicester 1 v 0 Liverpool
7 Nov - West Ham 3 v 2 Liverpool

And I would argue we should have been playing 10 men for 80 mins v West Ham and Salah missed a pen v Leicester. If you look at our only other defeat v Inter at Anfield we hit woodwork 3 times that game.

High line or not we are a tough team to beat.

The point is quite simple, our very high line works against the lesser teams whereas we concede a lot of chances against the better teams. If you watched games, you would have noticed how many times our GK has to defend one on ones. Did you watch our Spurs game? Yes our system allows for more chances to score but we should be able to change system as well. We were 6-2 up against Benfica but conceded 2 because we still held the high line. Brendan lost us league because of poor defending, remember? In the season we won it. We had by far the best defence and we were not playing that high line, yes we scored less as well, but we were champions. If we had been able to keep our lead against Brentford, we would be above City right now

Ah yes the Spurs game. Where Kane should have been sent off !!

We are talking about our high line defence and you are talking about Kane not being sent off. Why are you looking at our defeats only, you should also check our draws, and yes, it includes that one against Brentford. As I said, we had a much better defence but also a worse attack when we won the league with our highest number of points ever and our team is arguably better now.
