If you can believe the papers - Juventus seem to be putting a package together for him, if they're prepared to pay for him at the end of the season what sort of transfer fee do you think we should demand? I was thinking £80 - 90m I would demand £100 million for Salah, but with a year left, I would say anything over £50 million is good business, we know FSG will extract the maximum they can! I would be surprised if Salah wanted to go back to Italy, all his interviews in the last few years appear to be aimed at La Liga, where he ends up will depend what happens with Mbappe & Haaland.

I was thinking £80 - 90m We shouldn't accept anything below 100m, I know his age and contract dictate otherwise but he is one of the best players in this era.

Indeed. If he doesn't sign a new contract he should be sold to the highest bidder but I van see only 2 serious ones, PSG and Real. However, if too low, then we might have to keep him

Indeed. If he doesn't sign a new contract he should be sold to the highest bidder but I van see only 2 serious ones, PSG and Real. However, if too low, then we might have to keep him We have a team pretty much at its peak ATM, so I would prefer we just keep Salah and win as much as we can while we have him, we bought him for about £40 mullion, had him 6 years and he has been a great player, we have more chance of winning with him than without him. I cannot see huge bids coming in for Salah with only a year left at 30, if RM get Mbappe on a free, which looks likely, all their money will be spent on his wages. I doubt Salah will want to goto PSG and play in a French league where PSG pretty much have no real competition and fail in the CL regularly, who will probably sack their manager again, basket case of a club. He will also be playing second fiddle to Messi & Neymar, which I doubt he will want, It is not like he wants to live it up in Paris, so I do not see the attraction, apart from they will probably pay the biggest £££, but he will earn huge money whatever he does, even if he signs a new contract with us.

Well, looks like he will not earn huge money with us, this is why he is not signing a new contract. As for Mbappe's wages, with Bale gone and soon Benzena, I don't think it will be a problem for them whatsoever, they offered a world record fee to PSG only a few months back to buy him, this money is saved as well. The only barrier to his departure is what we will be asking to sell him, at 30 yo Real might not wish to pay a lot but PSG won't have problems on that side, except that maybe Salah would prefer PSG. As for us, in our model, everything is about value, this is also why we are not meeting his demands, especially at 30. You are thinking short term (1 year) which is very different to us
