Inter were the better team up to the hour mark, had the better clear chances.

The San Siro was never the place to throw a kid into the cauldron and very nearly backfired on us. TAA got isolated and had probably his worst game for us because of Elliott playing like a rabbit in headlights. Elliott's passing was reckless and he failed to backtrack along with TAA. Persic was having a field day down our right hand side and had it been a wiser opposing Manager they'd have exploited that to the fullest!

Hendo showed last night why he is still a very important player for us, Elliott was fairly poor, but it was good experience for him, TAA played poorly also, but that was probably because he did not get much protection from Elliott and was worried.

This is why we need a strong squad as we have now, so we can change games and have quality like Henderson to come on if needed.

TAA and Eliott playing together is making our right side very lightweight and defensively weak [/quo

ER,

What combination would you put in to bolster our right side?

Henderson played on the right a couple of games and he was sublime linking up with TAA and Salah but I guess that experiment has ended. He can play there again since Fabinho and Thiago are back playing together.

I wouldn't play Eliott on the same side of TAA, so probably Henderson or even Milner there. In fact, I would rather play TAA in midfield instead of Eliott and play Gomez as RB. Eliott should rather come off the bench

Interesting team selection today. Gomez starts at RB instead of TAA. Tsimikas instead of Robertson at LB. No Fabhino. Henderson starts in holding midfield role I assume. Keita and The Ox suprining starters. Diaz up front with no Firminio.

Big changes throughout. Interesting to see how it goes.

I would like to think he saw a midweek match v a hard working side and a Wembley final in the next week and knows his favoured starting XI cannot play every match.

I am watching this Leeds v Man U game and if Leeds have it in them to out work us after today's exertions they will deserve something from the game at Anfield because this match today is just brutal.

Henderson is easily one of the best players in our side.

Some of the assists in the last few games have been incredible
