I just don't don't see Mane or Firmino going to accommodate Diaz. I think Diaz and Mane will now be the situation between Tsimikas and Robertson, just 2 good players available for all our competitions.

Salah, mane and Diaz all look to be of similar mould but Firmino is a completely different type of player and in one way is really difficult to replace like for like, I would not be getting rid at all, people just base his performance on stats but there aren't really any stats for what he does.

My biggest fear as FSG see this signing as an excuse to low ball Salah and him ultimately leaving, I think this would be catastrophic. To me this would be the same mistake we have made for decades by where we have a great team but then just fail to keep going, end up winning nothing rinse and repeat.

Most likely and logical sells are Divock, Mina and Milner. Any of our front three leaving would be really bad. I can't really believe people are thinking about this.

Firmino is already starting less and less games so might decide to leave. As for Salah, I feel he will move to PSG as he is looking for very high wages we can't seem to afford. He will probably be replaced by Raphinha

It's annoying how people start writing Mane and Firmino off immediately. How can they not see that it's a squad game and we finally have some much needed depth up top, being still in 4 comps. It's more likely that Klopp will rotate Diaz, Salah, Mane, Firmino, Jota, and move Origi and Minamino on in the summer.

Firmino has been running on fumes for the past 2 seasons barely breaking into double figures. He is still a vital player for us but Jota has surpassed him in terms of goals and goal creation. Firmino will be squad player on the bench when needed.

Firmino is still very integral to how we play, he is our best link up player, often the stats do not show the work he does. Jota has been great for us, scored goals, but he does not link the play as well as Firmino does.

I think who we sell will depends on what bids we receive, if a decent bid for Firmino or Mane comes in, I think FSG will sell while they have value, I would rather keep both, as they give us real strength in depth we have not had in the forward line, but they will be on very good deals, so not easy to sell, look at the problems we are having moving on Origi.

Origi is an enigma...strange that he is happy to sit on the sidelines and contribute on the very rare occasion he's introduced.

His contract is up in June and the last time he had any real ongoing gametime was his last loan to Wolfsburg for a year (aug 17 to June 18) 3 1/2 years a go.

I can't understand why he is still with us for effectively 6 months of bench warming? We could have loaned him somewhere surely to get his wages off the books considering that is big for FSG cost cutting or even sold him.

He'll be 27 in April...so still relatively young, but almost certainly has no future with us.

Can't see Firmino starting a lot of our games anymore, even physically he struggles. I think he will have a better impact coming off the bench but it will depend if that suits him

I'd like to see Bobby tried further back in midfield because he doesn't have the pace now, required up front. He does tackle and chase down opponents for the ball and he can pick out a pass, all the attributes needed in the midfield. Considering we've been rather lean in the middle with a few sicknotes in Hendo, Thiago and Fab has had his fair share of injuries - reinventing Bobby could be of benefit to us.

Pretty sure I read somewhere or Klopp said in a press conference that he convinced him to stay for another year. I actually appreciate Origi as a person, he is doing a thankless task of being on the bench all the time or playing in the cup games and he has never once spoke out or said something bad in the press. He already helped us in the earlier rounds of the league cup by scoring. Origi will be foundly remembered for the vital role he has played even if he doesn't play anymore.

Weird that he doesn't want to play more regularly at his age, maybe he is waiting to be a free agent to get his last big contract
