It beggars belief that FSG have elected to sit out yet another transfer window with a threadbare squad quickly falling behind in all comps. We have glaring holes in midfield and up front - and I think we can forget trophies if we don't at least plug a couple of holes this month. Remember after the Superleague fiasco FSG said they would make it up to the fans? That was two windows ago - and they have done barely anything. They have sacrificed another season in the Klopp era with absolutely no backing. It's a crying shame!

Sorry to repeat what I said in the shout box but Sir Alex would not have sat back and relaxed after winning the champions league or the league he would of continued to bring in top quality players to build a lasting dynasty. I'm just scratching my head, we actually regressed instead of taking the opportunity by the scruff of the neck. We added Jota and Thiago but we lost Wijnaldum and Shaqiri so the squad is the same if not weaker due to thiago injury problems. We missed the boat, simple as. We could of and should of been winning countless trophies each season but instead we are struggling to get in a league cup final which I doubt we'll win anyway as Chelsea have a superior team and lost the league already. I'm really gutted at what has happened to the club in such a short period of time. Salah has been carrying the club on his back and there is still no news on a new contract. Club is a mess at the moment but you just wonder what could have been if we knuckled down and continued to bring in players and go from strength to strength.

Player for player, on paper, the first team is slightly better because Jota is so much better than Shaq. However, a few players have dropped from their peak, namely VVD, Mane, Firmino, Milner whereas City has progressed immensely specially at the back and Chelsea as well with new players and manager. Talking about Alex F, he constantly renewed his team by changing a couple of players, Pep is doing the same. For us, the only major change has been Jota

I was very surprised last summer that they did not sign a Marquee attacking player and I think that’s what we need to do now.

They have done it before with Alison and VVD when it was needed in those positions. More of the same for an attacking midfielder this time please Mr Klopp and FSG.

No money unless we sell Salah which I feel will happen, especially if Mbappe leaves PSG

Of course i mainly blame FSG for lack of signings but i do feel that Klopp is also too emotional in making judgements on players. Bobby and Hendo for ex. When players are on the way downhill it's to sell. Also get new players in earlier. For me it's not only FSG but also Klopp.

Since we won the league City bought Diaz, Cancello, Grealish, Rodri, I think Silva and Torres, we bought Minamino, Tiago and Jota, the 3 not first team players except maybe Jota. FSG do not deserve to win anything, unfortunately for us the fans

The only time FSG have allowed Klopp to buy world class players is when they robbed the geniuses over at Barcelona for the Couthino money.e

Honestly I'm not even bothered anymore. League is soon becoming like a Netflix series for me - brainless entertainment with no emotional investment. Until I see some ambition from FSG and/or City starts showing weakness, it will probably remain that way.

At least there's still UCL.

We will struggle in the CL with this squad too. All it takes is a couple of injuries or covid cases and we are scrabbling for quality players.
