Once again, Pickles seizes on a data sample of 2-3 cases, a few spurious internet quotes, and makes the slippery slope fallacy leap with such conviction. None of which make any of his claims true.
Firstly, the CDC have produced a number of reports on Myocarditis and Pericarditis and have made the determination that the case count is so low - it almost mirrors the normal rate without vaccines.
As per this article (and others) the rate is 21 cases per million - and one death among those samples. The numbers aren't high enough to attribute a vaccine cause to these conditions because they don't exceed the normal rate of discovery and it may be coincidental.
Furthermore, the claim that football heart conditions has increased is completely unsubstantiated - and pointing to three recent high profile cases does not provide a large enough data sample - nor has it been proven that all three players had COVID vaccinations just prior to their heart related issues. So far, everything is hearsay - but the conspiracy theorists have latched onto it already.
No one in the medical science field has ever claimed that vaccinations are without risk. They always contain a small degree of risk, including all the ones we had as kids. It's just that all linked risks have so far yielded such tiny percentages, less than 0.1% in most cases. Compare that to the data samples from the actual disease itself. You are thousands of times more likely to die of COVID (or kill someone else) than develop any health complications due to the vaccine. The numbers don't lie.
Just another bogus website folks... there are many fact checking sites that have completely crushed the credibility of goodsciencing.com and similar conspiracy sites.
It is definitely not normal for young athletes to suffer from cardiac arrests or to die while playing their sport, but this year it is happening. All of these heart issues and deaths come shortly after they got a COVID shot.
It's already been investigated and both the CDC and WHO have released data samples of possible links. The percentages are so negligible and there is not any real evidence to support the claim that these two things are linked. Various medical scientists have also spoken out against this specific claim of Le Tissier - even Gary Linker put him in his place.
Former Pro Matt Le Tissier Calls For An Investigation Into The Sudden Rise Of Football Players Suffering Heart Problems
Former England football player Matt Le Tissier has called for an investigation into the growing number of footballers suffering from sudden heart problems.
This comes after Manchester United’s Victor Lindelof, Napoli midfielder Piotr Zielinski, and Martin Terrier of French club Rennes were all struck with heart and breathing problems last week.
Le Tissier spoke in an interview with GB News about the matter.
“It’s been very concerning for me watching the sport that I love and I played for 17 years…in all that time that I played I never once saw any footballer leave the pitch because of heart issues.
Now I’m sorry, but if anybody can look at what’s happening now in the world of sport and say it’s normal for all of these people to be having heart issues, in football matches, cricket matches, basketball matches, any sport you wish, these people, the amount of people that are suffering is going through the roof.”
The former pro then went on to call for an investigation:
“It might not be to do with the vaccine, it may not be, but let’s have an investigation to find out what it is.”
Below is the interview - starts at 0:54 in:
The unusually large increase in players collapsing recently is leading to much speculation as to whether or not the COVID-19 vaccines are the cause of this frightening new trend.
Widespread vaccine mandates in sports around the world mean that professional athletes have been either forced to abandon their careers or get the jab, leaving them no option but to expose themselves to the potential risk these mRNA vaccines bring.
Yes, I am sure the players association can force an investigation
No one is enforcing the vaccines anywhere - despite what the conspiracy theorists puke all over the internet. There are countries where various corporate entities (mostly health related) are insisting upon vaccination or testing regimens in order for people to work there - but this is nothing new. US schools have required vaccinations for school entry for decades. Companies like Osha have had testing requirements in place for various diseases and conditions too. People are free to not get a vaccination or do testing - but companies are also free to dispense with their services if they put other workers at risk. None of this constitutes the sort of enforcement cited on these conspiracy sites.

I really feel uncomfortable with mandating a medical procedure on people. If you don't want it for whatever reason there is no way you should be compelled to have it. However bizarre those reasons may be. I think it's completely normal to be weary of a new type of vaccine which we have no real long term data for yet.
We don't really know how long pandemics last for, spanish flu for instance was an initial 2 years followed by waves for a further 8 years.
Also I think he is slightly off the mark, you could say one of the reasons this new omicron wave has hit us is because we have hoarded our supply of vaccines and not given enough out to other parts of the world and hence omicron began in South Africa and then spread here. Do we go over the South Africa with a SWAT team to make sure they are doing their bit?
The majority of people in this country have already done their bit and got vaccinated, how many are actually unvaxed apart from kids? Do you go ahead and vaccinate kids even if they don't need it? That seems daft to me but I don't know the science on that.
I again highlight my point yesterday, the people clogging up our health service are drunks, alcoholics, mental health issues and so on. I can't believe how pissy everyone gets over something with such a low death rate and completely ignore major issue which get brushed under the carpet.

Actually South Africa told J&J & Pfizer to stop sending vaccines on November 24th because they had ample supplies - 16 million doses in the Country. Then that very same day Pfizer discovered the Omicron variant, guess where? South Africa!!!
