Well, if Stevie was using defensive tactics in all his games, probably yes, but he is not, against us all teams but Chelsea, City and United (in the last game), didn't, we all know what happened to United. As for the next manager, would love it if Stevie is good enough to take over when Klopp goes.

Bit in hindsight this now but the huge massive difference you are not taking into account is Allardyce would be still be defending heavily against the teams in and around him and be a proper draw merchant hoping to be 15th come end of season. Gerrad has won 4 our of 6 is it? and lost to us and City. Great start to his premier league managerial career.
