We all know that TAA is better going forward than defending and it now seems opposing teams are exploiting that weakness. Brentford caused the defence problems all day yesterday and 3 goals did not flatter them. I’m worried how the defence will cope with City next week.

Maybe it’s a bit unfair to blame TAA but should Klopp possibly think of going to a 4-4-2 or 3-5-2 which would leave the center backs less exposed?

Klopp never changes his 433 formation, but yes, tactically yesterday the Brentford coach was spot on. Rather than 442 or 352, I would rather go 343, with Konate joining the 2 CB. In any case we are suddenly thin in the middle, so might work. But Klopp didn't earn his wages yesterday. He should have introduced Konate or Gomez for Jones, dont know why we went for 4 attackers when we had already score 3 and Brentford were just playing long balls...even their GK was at it

We never managed the game, at 3-2 we should have killed the game and brought Milner on for Jones.

Brentford played well and deserved something, but we should not have given it to them.

Still, top of the PL 6 games in, would have took tat at the start of season.

The whole defense looked off the pace, was odd, Matip is only one who looked half decent, they did target TAA at RB, Henderson didn't cover him much either.

343 would be interesting. Who would you have in midfield? Me me it would be Fab, Hendo, Thiago and Jones.

Hendo and Fab and you've forgotten our 2 full backs would then be in midfield, ie, TAA and Robbo. At the back Matip, VVD and Ibra, and our usual 3 in front. This is what we should have done when we were leading 3-2

Trent hasn't been great ever since signing that new contract. He has moments of brilliance and then disappears. He looks disinterested judging by his body language. Maybe the extra $ has gotten to his head.

TAA is not good as a full back.we would be better playing 3 at the back and pushing Trent on where he is affective.no good spraying 60 yard passes if you cant defend.
3-5-2 or 3-4-3 wouldn't be a bad idea.
