Without Salah where would the club be.
you make it sound as if Liverpool are a 1 man team.its the sort of thing that would have been said about Gerrard. Salah is just one of the cogs in this team. in fact in Liverpools best performance of the last few years Salah didnt play.
We would not have scored the amount of goals we have without him, he is consistently our top scorer, he is not our only top player, but he is the one we regularly rely on to score goals, if you took him out of the side for a season and replaced him with 1 of our squad forwards like Origi or Taki, we would not scored half the goals and would have missed out on the CL qualification.
Klopp has turned Salah into a very good player, but he would improve other players also. if we didnt buy Salah in the first place we would have bought someone else. can you imagine the goals Suarez whould have scored playing in this team?
Salah came in and started scoring immediately, he scored about 40+ goals in his first season, so no doubt Klopp and the coaches improved him, but not that much in such a short time to get him 40+ goals, Salah came in with his ability, but surprised everyone how good he was and the goals he scored.
Suarez didn't score so much in his first seasons with us, 15 goals in 18 months, so there are no guarantee's, to bring a player into a club and have him score 40+ goals in his first season then score 20+ goals in the next 4 seasons is exceptional I would say and shows Salah's class.
Why hasn't Klopp and the team turned Origi into a 20+ goals a season player? it is not that easy, that's why they cost so much.
