Just to wipe the smugness off Rio Ferdinand, Alan Shearer, Gary Lineker in the BBC Studios?
I definitely do, although being Welsh that is a given.
But I suspect many of us all feel the same.
Even the English Liverpool fans.

I'm Welsh and tbh I wish England well. Most of the time growning up it was only England qualifying for big tournaments to take any interest in. I guess if England do well we kind of benefit from having a strong league for Welsh players to play in and learn from.
I think this time they really do desrve to be deep into this tournament they have been great.
I wish we all had a bit of support behind the home nations, I would have wanted England fans wishing us on in our semi final a few years back. Nothing wrong with a healthy rivalry though but I think people take it too far.
I do mainly watch as a neutral and if they get knocked out with Pickford punching the ball into his net I'll laugh but in general I don't wish them badly.
Some things which do really grate me about England though:
-Fans booing their own players
-Twatty fans spoil it for the majority
-National press and pundits getting ahead of themselves nearly every year.

Pretty much agree with all this, I really dislike allot of the England fans, you see all the stereo types in the stands holding banners for clubs like Southend/Carlisle/Doncaster etc. I lost allot of interesting in the England team when they were booing John Barnes while playing for England in the early 90's, was a disgrace, now they are booing the taking the knee, sums it all up, I'm not saying all England fans do this, but it is a significant minority. Then there's the media, digging up crap from 70 years ago about the war against Germany etc, it's a joke. I was watching the game last night and Danny Murphy started going on about how England can beat Italy in the final during his commentary, then Rio Ferdinand is saying how England will beat either Italy or Spain, this arrogance is what annoys allot of fans who would otherwise support England if it wasn't for all this tin hat brigade around the team. As for the team, they appear to be a decent set of lads for once who are playing together as a team, which is rare, as England usually try and shoe horn the big names/ego's in.

Hopefully the Danes will win today. The English pundits are infuriating Ferdinand, Murphy, Wright, Lineker, Shearer acting like Southgate is a footballing genius and these English players are the best in the world.
Some of the team are decent, I don't particularly like Pickford, Maguire, Shaw, Kane

After a blatant elbow by Maguire he was shown constantly shaking his head.
As for Sterling, that was a blatant dive if I ever saw one.
Add to the list players I don't like Foden, wtf does he think he is with that soft Gazza haircut and his ott celebrations.

The Scots and Welsh traditionally support whoever England are playing but the hatred only goes one way the English support the welsh and Scots in the tournament other than when playing England. It’s an inferiority thing

I'll loose my head from now on if any English pundit has a go at Salah or Mane for "diving".

Fancy having to cheat to beat the Danes...
I'm English but wish Italy all the best on Sunday. I'd have much preferred to see Wales, Scotland or Denmark go further.
Nothing against the English players and I'm trying not to sound bitter, I just don't know why people react to the football team the way they do. Does it really affect Lee Dixon as much as he was making out, happy to see cheating to get to a final he's not playing in?
Added to the fact that I'm living in Portugal now and I can't even return to my UK home without tests for children and quarentine etc.. Why are the public 10x more passionate about millionaire's playing football than about state-sponsored child abuse? I've no love left for that place for sure.
ps. Plus... they haven't shut up about 66' for 55 years. The whole team and manager will be knighted..
