I did mention the collaboration a couple of months ago between Lebron and Mbappe for Nike's new line called "Chosen 2".
Generally there is a BIG all singing and dancing marketing campaign when a big name like Nike takes over a kit sponsorship of a big team, that never really happened with Liverpool.
About the time of this collaboration Lebron was seen wearing Liverpool's new Nike shirt and i believe there was pictures allover Instagram. Then there was Mbappe and Lebron exchanging pleasantries about each other on both their Instagrams along with Nike's.
Since then it has gone fairly quiet and we've had the media more interested in Mbappe's future with him yet to sign a contract extension with PSG or him even intimating he wanted to stay there...his contract expires June 2022.
I believe Mbappe is waiting until this summer to announce his intensions and what better way to gain more PR for Nike with the Euro's on the horizon.
