Hi Guys,
Just had a look at Rafa's transfer history. If you look at the players to leave the club it makes you wonder how many would / should still be at the club. I know that players can sometimes leave for personal reasons but the majority of these left for first team football..

Keane
Finnan
Hyypia
Guthrie
Warnock
Crouch
Riise
Sissoko
Bellamy
Garcia
Cisse

I would have all these guys back. Some straight to the first team as most were replaced by inferior players.

Also watching the world cup should make us all realise just how great a player we had in Alonso. With better management he would not have left the club.

Finnan and Hyypia finished now really I think
Guthrie - Not good enough IMO
Sissoko - never the same after that eye injury
Garcia - no - gave the ball away too much when he was here (sorry Flames)
Cisse - No - had the finishing skills of Heskey

The others I would have but don't think are feasible except for Bellamy. He would be a realistic target he has fallen out of favour at City and they have signed Silva. Saw an article last week that Harry was after him for £7m.

He would be exactly what we need for this coming season

Decent player but he's 31 soon, has dodgy knees and misses plenty of games. A fee of £7m is way too much. If he was on a free we could pay his wages but otherwise no thanks

I think he will be around in the Prem for at least another 3 seasons

Don't mean that I would go out of my way to re sign. Just mean that I wouldn't have sold in the first place. If you look at our current forward options and how short we are yet we have let Cisse, Baros, Bellamy, Crouch, Garcia, leave the club..

All of these guys would get game time considering our current options...

If you mean Bellamy i don't think he'll be playing in three seasons never mind in the Prem, his knees are shot

Look at the left back position. We got rid of Riise and Warnock for 5 odd million. Bought Dossena, Insua and signed Areluio..Gained 5m spent 10m and both players who left are better than the 3 who joined..

he'd probably play more games than Torres though to be fair

Finnan and Hyppia I would love to see back, but they are both gone. I don't think Finnan would have done a job for us as he arrived injured at Esponyol? I think.

Riise now, there's a man that could still do a job for us. Bring back the Red ball himself!!
