I don't think anyone can see a future for FSG after they played russian roulette with the club.

However.

What happens from now on, do FSG asset strip the club? sell all our best players, no new signings etc Basically take as much before they sell. Or is it in their interests to keep us competative and keep the value of the club high?

Who buys? Another moneyball type owner or someone with lots of oil money.

Thoughts.

Asset stripping won't be a good strategy to sell as the player sales will reduce the company price more than it will bring in. Nobody has the kind of money FSG wants for the club, or rather the return will be too low to interest anybody. The only thing FSG can do is to do an IPO, so we will be with them for a long time I am sure.

We could end up with a state like China or Saudi, wanting to sportswash their PR globally, not many people could afford us at £2+ Billion, so I do not see some sort of benevolent owner who wants to pour all their money into delivering us trophies and keeping out the football side as most of us want !!!

We should learn from H&G how bad it can go, all the prople calling for FSG out need to have a think IMO, FSG are not perfect by any means, but they are better than most IMO.

I agree with saying we need to think carefully about running FSG out of town. I think for the most part they have done OK. For me an apology goes a long way to building back bridges. I know most people will want them out and I can understand that as well.

I think IF they win something next year and the team continues to be successful I'm not sure there will be much fuss kicked up.

We are also over valued, the team is ageing and needs rebuilding & investment, salaries are spiralling, Klopp is likely to leave in the next few season, he has been the one who has delivered most of the success, an enhanced league delivering money has just been abandoned, I would not buy us for £2+Billion which is probably what FSG will want?
