Rush was 27 when he re-joined, so was still at his peak and had plenty of years in him, he was also a Liverpool great before he left a year earlier, Coutinho was never a great, he was a very good player but was inconstant.
In the right deal, Coutinho would be a decent signing, but I think his wage demands would be too high, I would prefer the money spent on the next Coutinho/Suarez, we need to look for the next Mane/Salah.

nah never go back, and he pretended he has a sore back. we need to be signing the new talent not the old ..suarez coutinho no thanks Never go back, really? Maybe signing back Rush was a mistake then? It was for me it disrupted the 88 side and I preferred Aldo. Rush was not the same player that left

Yes, but not Firmino or even Mane. That said, Klopp wanted to use Coutinho in the number 10 role, we do not have a better creative midfielder. This is why I think we could sell Ox or Shaq or both to bring him in
