A lot of people are angry at Klopp/FSG for not signing a top CB this year - but I actually think their biggest mistake was not getting another striker in January. Look at the situation - FIrmino has been out of form for months, Origi has shown absolutely nothing (not even against Lincoln for a full game) and is living on nostalgia, and they knew Jota had a serious injury that would keep him out for months. No wonder we can't score - we're burning Salah and Mane out and we loaned out our other forward option in Minamino. Our midfielders and defenders don't chip in with goals - so if the front three don't score, we don't score. How the owners can't see that we've needed a proper poacher of a striker all year is beyond me. Even someone on the level of Ings or Bamford would have been better than nothing. This false nine business with Bobby so deep all the time no longer works. Our one trick inverted winger thing has been sussed out and the goals have dried up. Most clubs have 3-4 recognised strikers in their squads - we have one and he hasn't scored since the CL final.

I rather think that we have been found out regarding our system with press and false number 9. We should have sold Origi for a long long time. Klopp always played with top CF (Lewandowski, Auba) until he came to us with a different system. It's very difficult to change a system which has brought you success, sometimes impossible

Brace yourself because we're not getting Mbappe or Haaland..... Sarr or Daka much more in keeping with FSG transfer policy unless we sell a top asset to fund it. I'll never understand why LFC fans are going for those pipe-dreams - despite Pickles silly thread.

Maybe the signing we should make then is owners worthy of a great club like LFC. Your statement sadly may be accurate perhaps the question is why do we meekly accept this ?

We did have the opportunity to sign Haaland at one point, we didn't, and that is because of FSG's buy before sell and Moneyball policy
