Yes, I can't see how other scouts, at other clubs, weren't interested if he were any good. £2m for a player anywhere near good enough for our bench, let alone the team, seems like a tiny fee - given that PNE would have known how desperate we actually are, right now. It's a puzzling move. At the end of the day, it looks like a way of making money (as stated above) rather than a means to improving the team.
