Shocked to hear the news Jota could be out for 2 months what on earth was klopp thinking of playing him in that meaningless game ? a decision that could cost us the title with the big games he will miss.

Mitigating that we have the ox back not as good as jota and injury prone but still a great player and a potential match winner

Also, Matip has had his usual 3 game cameo before his next injury. Went off at half time today with a back injury.

Now we have 0 regular senior cb's available and will have to play either a kid or Hendo next to Fab.

We will have to buy a centre back now in January it would be madness not too

Indeed, but that was also the case in the summer, and it seems we never even thought of replacing Lovren back then.

I wouldn't be surprised to see the next transfer window pass by without us even having a sniff at a new cb.

That would be suicidal for our season.

New cb is a necessity as Joe always loses at least half a season, Matip lasts two or three games and who knows how VVD will be after his injury.

We defo need a CB, we have been riding our luck rotating since VvD & Gomez got injured, we are also missing Fab from MF, which weakens our MF and reduced options to rest the like of Wij.

I'm not saying we need to go out and buy the latest rising CB star for £50+ milllion (would be nice), but we need an experienced CB specialist who can drop into our defence and play the rest of the season, similar to what Klavan did.
