Last season was our title winning season, everyone was on fire including Mane,Vvd, Robertson, Arnold, Hendo, Salah, Alison etc, however we were discussing this season and based on stats, you can't fault him and his contributions. Are you saying Salah has been performing according to his best this season? My comments came after I watched the Ajax game, was he all fine to you? Of course not but due to no pre season and a game every days with no training just recovery you can say that about most of our players. His stats speak for themselves however. There are no stats about not passing the ball when somebody else is in a better position though, there must be a reason why Mane was so upset and even the newcomer Jota experienced it, remember when Salah took the ball off his foot in front of the goal. This is quite obvious when you are watching the game. Salah has great skills, thus his great stats, but he could easily be better, that's the point. Every striker is kind of selfish in some way. I can name a lot of occasions that Salah was in a good position and Jota/ Mane didnt pass to him and choose to shoot themselves as well. What I care about is whether his style of play benefits the team as a whole. In the way Salah plays, he creates the most big chances (among firmino/mane/jota) and scores the most number of goals. I think this is an effective way of play and no change of style is required. You cannot deny the facts that Salah contributes a lot by scoring and assisting teammates.

Though I agree that Salah contributes a lot, what I am saying is that he would be much better if he passed the ball sometimes. I think that his attitude is not helping the team dynamics and I feel others, especially Mane, will end up doing the same to him, which is wrong for the team. If you think it's ok, that's fine, I don't

If you really watched the games, you may find that Salah actually passes a lot and creates a lot of chances Haters gonna hate. Even Salah creates a lot of chances, you can still ask him to create more and find one or two occasions he didnt pass and said he is selfish. I cant see why our best player, Mane (as mentioned by you), who is not selfish, creates much less chances than Salah, who you said is selfish. It just didnt make any sense to me.

blimey, Curtis Jones is getting mighty selfish too. should've passed to Salah who was open and in a much better position but chose to go at it alone.
see... anyone can be deemed selfish from just that one or two incidents. but as long as the team benefits in the end, why change? if Klopp sees/feels that there is a problem, i'm sure he'll address it.
sorry to jump into this but i feel that sometimes Salah is getting some unfair stick cos seems like everyone is holding him to his 1st season exploits.

So you think if there was a problem Klopp will come and say so in public, really? Did you watch the game when Mane was more than upset last season? Did you watch Mane this season when Salah decided to shoot instead of passing and hit the post? Did you watch Jota when Salah picked the ball off his shot? Seriously, did you actually watch those games or you are just arguing based on stats? If you think all is fine and Salah shouldn't change, so be it, though I am sure Klopp had a couple of words with him. By the way, I don't hate Salah because I have no reason to, I dont even know him, don't know about you but I dont just hate people I dont know.

Seriously, I watched all games Liverpool played since I think around 20 years ago. Sometimes, I watched it live and watched it again for the second/third times when the TV replayed the match. As I said before, there are plenty of occasions that strikers was upset when teammates failed to pass the ball to them. I am sure there are plenty of incidents that Salah felt upset too when Mane didnt pass to him. The match that you mentioned for Mane being upset was just an over-reaction by Mane. The whole team laughs off the incident. And Mane/Salah even had a joke for the incidents after that in Instagram. Even last night, I can name a few times that Mane should have passed rather that shot. That's what it is. Again, no footballers always make the right decision on pitch. Everyone understands that. Sometimes footballers go with their instinct. A lot of world class goals come from those incidents that you think the players should pass rather than shoot. (Say, Maradona's solo goal against England;) If Klopp thinks there is a problem, he will probably handle it even he might not go into pubic. However, you can see he is more than satisfied and that's why he keeps playing Salah every week and earned us a EPL title.

It is very easy to find one or two incidents that the players didnt pass and blame them as selfish. As long as Salah scores and keeps creating chances to others, why we have to change the way he plays?

Salah will always try the crazy stuff, like the one against Tottenham when he was on the goal line and dribbled it between 3 players and scored in the top corner, if he wouldn't have scored, people would have said he should have passed and was greedy/selfish to try.
But stuff like that means he is a marked man and teams have to put extra resources to mark/block him, this creates space for the other players like Mane/Firmino/Jota etc. Every team needs a maverick who will try the unexpected, it's like his goal last night, pure opportunism, 95% of players would have left the defender thinking its under control, but he nipped in, took the ball from a bad touch, with a tremendous finish which looked easier that it was, that just puts fear into teams/defenders that you cannot give him an inch.
I am happy to leave the players to do as they like, Klopp and his team will coach and advise them, but when you have players like Salah & Mane, you need to also give them the freedom to play as they like and develop/exploits openings they see during the game/in opposition.
At the end of the day, any team in World football would love to have Salah in their team, he would walk into any forward line up IMO, so while he is delivering goals and assists, I am happy for him to play as he is. Top players go through streaks of great form when everything the do comes off, like he did in his first season, but sometimes you see how good a player really is when they struggle and don't get the breaks, Salah has had some lean times, when we get on his back for not seeing better positions/passes, but he always comes good and delivers for the team.
