It has been a mixed bag with injuries and that humiliating result at villa. We also lost the community shield and got knocked out of the league cup. We can also write the fa cup off because sadly Klopp doesn't fancy the cups and always plays kids.

The league has been good but not brilliant and I fear the longer the season goes the more we will miss Vvd but I hope I am wrong. The champions league has been our perfect escape from the negativity surrounding our injuries and league performances so that has been brilliant at least. Obviously we need to look forward now and hopefully we will have more players available after the international break. I think every fan would have taken the league position if it was offered at the start being just 1 point off top and playing the league leaders next.

As I've said it's been good and bad for a number of factors but are you happy with where we are currently and are you confident in having trophies at the end of the season?

I think injuries are going to play a big role this season given the packed number of games. Dont think we can fight for both the league and CL. One trophy would be good

I am happy with the start we have made, apart from the VvD injury which is a big blow, but I have ben impressed how we have continued and not let it affect us on the pitch.

We are showing determination to retain the title, this is our third big season after winning CL/97 points, then winning the PL/99 points, often teams drop off in the third 'big' season, as we have seen in the past from Man City/Chelsea etc, so defending the PL was always going to be difficult.

As others have said, this season will have allot of injuries, so the winner could come down to who copes with these the best, who spends in the January Window, we have a strong squad, we need a CB in January, so hopefully we will go on to win the PL.

For me, the CL will be a lottery, lots of teams will struggle with injuries and fixture contention, we have as good a chance as anyone, I think Bayern are still the team to beat, but 3 wins has set us up nicely to qualify.

Klopp will probably play the U23 kids in the FA Cup, so how we progress will depend on the draw.

All things considered I think we have had a good start.

As for winning anything it's impossible to know because as others have said I think injuries are going to decide who wins what.

We have also played allot of big rival teams, like Everton, Chelsea & Man City away, with Arsenal at home, so it was not the easiest of starts, so we have them out of the way now.

We were excellent yesterday and we are joint top with a lot of the tougher games already out of the way.

As a lot of people have said already injuries are going to play a huge part and we have been cursed this season.

But we will be in the mix come May (I hope)
