I haven’t been paying attention to the mortality rates in UK but here in USA they are very much down. The only reason the positive rates have increased again here are because of much more widespread testing and the same as when it first hit it is only dangerous to those with underlying conditions and the very old, much like the flu.
Trump saved many, many lives with banning travel to and from China before anybody else in late Feb, even after his political opponents called him a xenophobe for doing so.
There is still some serious problems with how the science community worldwide has handled this with so much misinformation and scaremongering.
When this is allover China needs to be held accountable!

They should be ok to continue PL as is now, with no crowds, can't see any crowds in the stadiums this season.

Clubs will go bankrupt if it happens, no chance it will stop because managers, players, staff have been tested positive and the show just goes on. Clubs have their own testing done and are managing their bubble. There is too much money at stake to stop it.

The government has bigger priorities than the wealth of premiership football clubs. I would imagine thats way down the list with the economic devastation to come

CL will be more interesting, as they cross country borders and there is allot more travel, so if a country is in lockdown, not sure if Governments will allow teams in/out.
