I hate to say it but at 23/24 in their positions they are not going to make it at our level. We have players who are better than them already. Should be able to get £20m for Grujic from a German club and £25m for Wilson.

before covid, maybe. In this market, not a chance. No way teams are gonna be throwing around 20-30 million for the likes of wilson and grujic. We'll sell for what we can if it makes sense. This year will be about Consolidating, see how the market is and maybe spend significantly next summer...maybe january. We are looking at a net loss of 40 million with the potential of that tripling over the course of the season if lockdown measures still hamper us and our revenues. Most windows since fsg we very rarely spent over 30 million NET. We wont be spending any significant money and that will be the same for most clubs who do not have sugar-daddy owners and run their clubs as such.

I'd rather keep them both than sell them cheap, we are likely to have 2 games a week in the shortened season to come, so we can at least have them as options from the bench, we have made it clear we will not be bringing in lots of players, so cover in MF is important.

But pointless if Klopp doesn't fancy them...which has currently been the case hence why they keep getting loaned out. Get as much money as we can for the loanees and bring in players that are going to aid our current team/squad.

I expect we have been loaning them for experience and to improve them, not because they had no chance and Klopp doesn't fancy them, we would have just sold them if that is the case, I guess Klopp thinks he can use them, but they are not ready yet.

By now they should be ready, so we either play them as squad members or sell, another loan does not make sense at their age. The likes of Kane has been loaned out to various clubs and never looked like he would make it, then he comes back to Spurs with that experience and it just clicks, so you never know.

I agree, with the conditioning now, players can continue playing into their 30's, the danger with our MF is that they get hammered with the work rate, so their legs could drop off rapidly, to play in our MF they need to be top of their game.
