Given that we are not signing any expensive players this season, I feel both should be given a chance.


They are not expensive flops like other players we have sent in loan

Both did very well at the club's they went to on loan.


We are linked with 35million Brooks from Bournemouth, yet Wilson out scored and out performed him last year.

Yeah I think I would have outscored and outperformed Brooks last year. He was out for about 95% of the season.

Which shows zero sense to pay 35million for an injury prone player when Wilson is twice the player who we already own.

Grujic is getting his chance to prove himself to Klopp in Austria. Klopp doesn't rate Wilson for whatever reason - he's not even on the trip and will probably be sold this week.

We’ll learn about Alacantra’s fate as soon as Bayern finish in the CL.

Grujic and Wilson and the rest of perennial loaners need to be sold to accommodate for players who are going to make a difference to our team/ squad and not somebody else’s.

Wilson is as good as gone, he is not training in the camp, Even Karius is there so that tells you something. Grujic could be a valuable squad player, I would keep him to play as we need more bodies to win the cup games.

Wilson might be injured?

In midfield we have

Henderson,Fabinho,Milner,Wijnaldum,Ox,Shaqiri,Jones,Keita,Elliott and Minamino.

With possibly Alcantara to come in how do Grujic and Wilson even get on the bench?

And are we seriously going to keep them to play in cup games and stop those like Jones, Elliott and Milner getting game time to tick over?

We can get £40m in for those 2. Pays for Alcantara and they Greek lad and still leaves us the £10m we got for Lovren.

For me it depends if we sign anyone in MF, I would like to see Wilson & Grujic play for us with the other top players, like Mane, Salah, Bobby, VvD, TAA & Fab etc, to see if they can perform, the cup games are difficult to judge as they are usually playing with the squad players.

Wij maybe leaving and is 30, Hendo is 30, Milner is 34, Lallana has gone, so these players will need replacing in the next few seasons, so seems silly to sell good players (like Grujic & Wilson) without properly testing them first, at the moment we are likely to get reduced fee's, so it is not likely we will get great offers like we did for Solanke, Ward & Ibe.

Wij, Henderson & Milner will all need replacing, they are not getting younger.


How much would it cost to sign either young Serbian or Welsh international to replace them.

40million each, makes more sense to let them stay for a season.
